With nearly 25 years of dedication and 4 years officially under the Plimbley banner, Colin brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and a dash of Yorkshire charm to our team.

When he's not ensuring our passengers are treated to fascinating facts and smooth journeys, Colin is meticulously vetting our suppliers and hotels, ensuring only the finest accommodations make the cut. His knack for sniffing out the best deals is second to none—after all, he is a true Yorkshireman, and nothing gets past him without a thorough inspection and a bargain seal of approval.

Colin’s mechanical skills are legendary around here. As a qualified mechanic, he loves nothing more than tinkering with cars in his free time. This passion extends to his role, where he helps compile our exciting holiday itineraries and our glossy brochures, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine.

One of Colin’s fondest (and funniest) memories is from a trip to Torquay. While enjoying a pasty by the seafront, a cheeky seagull decided it fancied a bite of both his pasty and his lip. Though left with a bloody lip, Colin was more annoyed about losing his beloved pasty to the high-flying thief. The drivers who witnessed the event couldn’t stop laughing, but Colin, ever the stoic Yorkshireman, took it all in stride—though he might still hold a grudge against seagulls.

Whether it's negotiating unbeatable deals or sharing his wealth of knowledge on tours, Colin truly has the full package. His dedication, humor, and unique skills make him an invaluable asset to Plimbley Travel and a favorite among our passengers.

Margaret – Co-ordinator

Meet Margaret, a valued member of the Plimbley Travel team since our inception. She prefers the humble title of "Co-ordinator," reflecting her role in ensuring the Tour Manager's job runs smoothly by overseeing all administrative work that is necessary for the perfect holiday.

Margaret has several years of experience in the coach travel sector and has always worked with the public. She has a Certificate for Customer Care and has enjoyed some very interesting conversations with people whilst travelling on tour coaches in the UK and Europe!!

Born and raised in Birmingham, Margaret stands at 4 feet 11 inches and likes to say, "they don't build diamonds as big as bricks." She brings a wealth of knowledge to her role with a degree in Social Sciences. 

Beyond work,  Margaret is a prolific reader, enjoys driving (for which she holds a RoSPA certificate for Road Safety) , is a Trustee for a local Charity and loves her dog!

Her sense of humour and collection of funny stories from her own life add a unique touch to our team. Whether it's an itinerary or an internal email, Margaret's attention to detail and dedication ensure everything is top-notch.

Coming from a long line of coach drivers, Kevin embodies the old-school family values that have been passed down through generations.
