Excursions - (Singles & Summer Break only)

Anglesey & Puffin Island - Take a journey aboard a 54-seat cruise boat to Puffin Island, where you will receive an informative and entertaining commentary along the way. You will be shown various points of interest and the local history will be explained. See how many different birds and species of wildlife you can spot! Once back on dry land, explore Beaumaris, with a thriving high street, lovely boutiques, coffee shops and an ice-cream parlour; and what trip to the seaside would be complete without fish and chips. Betws-y- Coed - Truly experience Snowdonia with a morning visit to Betws-y-Coed, nestled at the heart on the Conwy Valley.
Porthmadog & Criccieth - We visit the harbour town of Porthmadog, situated on the Glaslyn Estuary, rich in maritime history. There are several craft shops, restaurants and cafes. We also visit Criccieth, a coastal resort offering superb views of Tremadog Bay. With sandy beaches, fine restaurants and Criccieth Castle dominating the skyline.


Victorian Extravaganza April 30th-May 3rd

We invite you to journey with us back in time to the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza! Attracting over 150,000 visitors over the 3-day May Bank Holiday weekend many returning year after year. The event has been established for 34 years. It takes over the main streets in Llandudno bringing vintage attractions, entertainment, and fun fairs. At 12 noon each of the 3 days the daily parade takes place, see traction engines, vintage vehicles, Victorian costumes, and entertainers take part in the parade. Laugh, gasp and be amazed as the circus stars light up and transport you to the heart of a Victorian Circus as well as bands, dancers, magicians, circus workshops and exhibits. If you have not visited this fun packed extravaganza before, please come along and see what all the fuss is about, this first visit won’t be your last!


COVID-19 Information

At Plimbley Travel, we are doing everything we can to keep our customers safe, below you will  find a list of all the steps we and our partners will be taking so you can relax and enjoy your holiday with peace of mind.

COACH

  • Hand sanitiser will be provided for your use
  • You may be required to board the coach via the front and side doors depending where you are seated.
  • All of our coaches will be vigorously cleaned each day and fully sanitised with a fogging machine at the start and end of each tour. All high traffic areas and all touch points are disinfected numerous times during the day.  Some of our coaches have the benefit of the latest air purification technology.
  • Face coverings/masks will be required (If you do not have these, we can supply you with a reusable face mask for the cost of £1.50each). Please ask for details.
  • Passengers from the same household or social bubble will be allowed to sit together. Single travellers will not be expected to sit next to any other passengers
  • Your seat numbers may change so we can adhere to social distancing as much as possible.
  • You may be required to have your temperature taken with a contactless thermometer.
  • Our booking and reservation systems are fully compliant with “Track & Trace” requirements.

TAXIS

  • We are limiting the number of passengers we can take in one taxi or minibus; face coverings may be required depending on individual companies, but we would advise you to wear them for your own safety.

HOTELS

  • Due to social distancing there will be no entertainment in some hotels.
  • Swimming pools will not be open until further government guidance.
  • Bars and restaurants will be open with tables arranged to adhere to social distancing.

EXCURSIONS

  • Group numbers will be reduced at any one time to some venues where you are in enclosed spaces to allow for social distancing.
  • There might have to be changes to some excursions due to some venues not opening to full capacity. We will however try our best to update you on this as soon as possible.
