Day 1: We depart in the morning from one central departure point making our way North with a comfort stop and lunch stop in the village of Moffatt arriving at the hotel in time for your evening meal.
Day 2: After a full Scottish breakfast, we visit the city of Dundee. The fourth largest city in Scotland is situated on the bank of the Firth of Tay on the East Coast of the Central Lowlands. Dundee is home to its very own Victoria and Albert museum; a design museum which opened on 15th September 2018 and is the first design museum in Scotland and the first Victoria & Albert Museum outside of London.
Day 3: We travel to the city of Edinburgh to enjoy a visit to The Royal Yacht Britannia, follow in the footsteps of royalty. It is here where Prince William and Prince Harry would have spent their summer holidays. You will then get to spend some free time in the city to explore at your leisure.
Day 4: Today we travel into beautiful Trossache and Loch Katrine, here you will have a two-hour cruise on the SS Walter Scott, one of the oldest steamships in the world. Cruise the beautiful waters of Loch Katrine whilst listening to the tales and legends of the Loch, narrated by a crew member. We continue our journey through Rob Roy MacGregor country to Callawder.
Day 5: Our journey today takes us to Blair Athol Castle, the home to the Athol family for over seven centuries with a guided tour of the castle.
Day 6: Free day to explore Stirling.
Day 7: We spend the morning with a visit to Scone Palace, the crowning place of the King of Scots, including Macbeth and Robert the Bruce. (Cost included). We continue our journey to what was once the Sottish capital; Perth, with its tall spires and the River Tay passing through. Here you will have free time to explore.
Day 8: We make our way home after breakfast with a stop at Gretna Green.
