Carnival of Light - November 12th

Stunning illuminations will light up the night sky above Weston-Super-Mare when the popular carnival returns to town, with more than 140 illuminated floats, marching bands, fancy dress walkers and entertainers winding their way through the town, no wonder tens of thousands of visitors are expected to descend on Weston and line the streets to see the annual procession.

Excursions

Wells & Street - Visit the medieval city of Wells, nestled on the southern side of the Mendip \hills and known as the smallest city in England. The history of Wells stretches right back to Roman times – visit the 13th century cathedral and absorb the fascinating history. Street has a modern appearance but its story dates back to the dark ages. It is also home to Clarks Village, a major factory outlet shopping complex. (March date only).
Burnham-On-Sea - Today we visit the large seaside resort of Burnham-on-Sea, positioned at the mouth of the River Parrott upon Bridgewater Bay. Famous for the nine-legged lighthouse and also for being one of the shortest piers in the country. The bustling town has a mixture of high street shops and traditional outlets.

**November date excursion to Burnham-on-Sea only**
