Lewes - Surrounded by chalk cliffs, the town of Lewes is dominated by the remains of a Norman castle. Its medieval streets are home to numerous contemporary galleries, bookshops, boutiques and antique centres as well as many restaurants, cafes and pubs.
Worthing - We travel via Beachy Head to Worthing, a traditional seaside town with a wide-open promenade. We also visit the English Martyrs Church at Goring-by Sea which boasts the world’s only hand painted replica of the Sistine Chapel artwork.
Tenterden & Wine Tasting (June & August only) - Todays excursion takes us to the Carr Taylor Vineyard. You will get to see the vats and presses and learn about their various wine making techniques. You will also receive tea/coffee and cake. (Cost included). Our next stop on today ’s excursion takes us to Tenterden, known as the ‘Jewel of the Weald’, is an intriguing town to explore. With Georgian buildings, tall Victorian houses and tiny cottages as well as a wide range of shops selling crafts, unusual gifts, books and antiques.
