Bluebell Railway - (July date only) - Enjoy a return journey through time on the scenic Bluebell Railway, one of the first preserved Heritage lines in the country and regularly seen on television and in films. The line runs between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead. Take a stroll in the gardens of Sheffield Park, the 120- acre listed garden laid out in the 18th century, with four large lakes reflecting the exquisite planting of trees and shrubs (cost included).

Lewes - Surrounded by chalk cliffs, the town of Lewes is dominated by the remains of a Norman castle. Its medieval streets are home to numerous contemporary galleries, bookshops, boutiques and antique centres as well as many restaurants, cafes and pubs.
