Day 1: We head to Fishguard for our early afternoon crossing to Rosslare, from here we continue to our overnight in Waterford, arriving early evening. There will be time to settle in and explore before your evening meal. Dooley’s City Centre Hotel is a family-run hotel located on the historic Merchants Quayside overlooking the River Suie, with shopping and sightseeing districts a mere stone’s throw away.
Day 2: Following our full Irish breakfast we depart Waterford and take a scenic trip to Blarney, you can choose to kiss the Blarney stone or visit the Blarney Woollen Mill, reported to be the largest Irish store in the work=ld. There is plenty to do and see here along with the opportunity to have a spot of lunch. We continue our journey to Killarney where the centrally located Evistion House Hotel is our home for the next 3 nights.
Day 3: A trip to County Kerry would not be complete without the Ring of Kerry tour, The Ring of Kerry (or Iveragh Peninsula to give its correct name) is part of the mystical and unspoiled region of Ireland that has attracted visitors n for hundreds of years. Its spectacular beauty is beyond question, with its rugged islands, white sand beaches, dramatic mountain passes and a Royal Goat – the Ring of Kerry works its magic as you travel from rugged coastline to charming villages and buzzing towns.
Day 4: A free day to explore the splendours of Killarney or alternatively you can choose to join us on an optional excursion – Take a ride on the jaunting cars from our hotel to Ross Castle, then a cruise on Lough Leane, the largest of the three lakes in Killarney. A jaunting car tour is a perfect option to show you the hidden delights of Killarney Nation Park and the famous lakes of Killarney. The beautiful Killarney Lake cruiser offers a spectacular experience, cruising in the scenes of gentle low land, scattered islands in the shadow of the towering ruggedness of the McGilcuddy Reeks Mountain Range. Day 5: We bid farewell to Killarney and take the scenic route to Dublin. We make our first coffee stop in the picture-postcard village of Adare in County Limerick, famed for its string of thatched cottages built in the 19th century. We continue our journey and make a lunch stop in Newbridge where we visit the Newbridge silverware visitor centre, you can browse the shop, get some lunch and even visit the centres Museum of Style icons. The museum houses fashion collections and artefacts which once belonged to the greatest style icons of modern times such as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Grace, Princess Diana, the Beatles and many more. Following lunch, we make our way to the Capital city of Dublin. Our time in the capital is free to do as you please, you may wish to visit the Guinness Storehouse or take the sightseeing tour bus. We will then pick you up and make the short journey to the Bonington Dublin Hotel, Spa & Leisure centre in time for your evening meal.
Day 6: Following a leisurely breakfast, we depart our hotel and make a short return visit to Dublin for some last-minute sightseeing or a little shopping before we bid “so long to Dublin’s Fair City” and embark on our return journey, we catch the 14.50pm ferry to Holyhead where we follow the Welsh coastal road heading back to the Midlands.
